On the side of the press, there are two gauges.
Do not pay any attention to the gauge on the bottom. You’re only concerned about the gauge on the top.
You want to set each side to 2.
Turn the adjustment wheel clockwise until the plate, right here, rises up to be level with 2.
Then do the same thing on the other side: turn it clockwise until it’s at number 2.
Then you want to recheck the first side, because often the pressure will increase up to 3, just from having that other side screwed down.
Even it out by unscrewing the first wheel a little bit, counterclockwise.
Then you’re ready to go.
This pressure works perfectly with a very thin acrylic plate, like this one.
You may need to adjust if you use a thicker plate.
Put your print (plate and print paper) on the bed.
Here, the press is going to move and the bed is going to remain stationary.
That’s the main difference between this press and the others.
And then, if you have a print, it would be done.
When you are completely finished using the press, release the pressure, just so that the roller is not on top of the felt anymore.
And that’s it.
